The Glen Cove Jr Soccer Girls U12 Cheetahs are heading into an exciting championship stretch after an impressive postseason run that has earned the team appearances in two major finals.
The Cheetahs secured their place in the ENYYSA State Cup Final with a dominant 3-0 victory over Chelsea Piers SC in the semifinal round. With the win, Glen Cove advances to the ENYYSA State Cup Finals on May 30 at the Blue Sky Sports Complex in Middletown, New York, where they will face Rockville Centre SC for the championship title.
The team’s success has extended beyond State Cup play. The Cheetahs have also earned a spot in the EDP Tri-State Championship Final, continuing what has already become a memorable season for the players, coaches, and families. Glen Cove will take on Atlantic United in the championship match on June 6 at the Orlin & Cohen Soccer Complex.
Throughout the season, the Cheetahs have demonstrated determination, teamwork, and resilience against top competition across the region. Their achievement of reaching two championship finals is a testament to the hard work and commitment shown by the players and coaching staff all year long.
