The 2025 Soccer season begins Saturday, September 13, 2025, with the annual parade! Coaches have been given their team rosters, schedules, uniforms, and equipment. They will start contacting you now by text or email. We have asked all coaches to hand out uniforms and hold a practice.
FALL SOCCER INFORMATION
1) Parade Day: Line up at the Glen Cove Middle School horseshoe parking lot off Forest Ave at 9:30 AM
Parade starts at exactly 10:00 AM. We march to City Stadium. Games will begin at 11:00 AM after the opening ceremony. Please check your schedule for game times.
2) The coach will have from Sept 1-Sept 12 to contact their players and hand out uniforms according to soccer player size.
City Stadium is available for practice as well as Gribbin Elementary. Coaches were given permissible practice times
3) If you do not hear from your coach by September 4th, please contact brett@glencovejrsoccer.org
4) Game schedules, starting with Week 1, will be posted on the website home page.
5) Equipment – Parents/Guardians must purchase shin guards for their child (available at Valley Sports-Glen Cove, Amazon, and most sports stores). Soccer cleats (no metal spikes) are recommended but not mandatory.
